Our Review!

This is Watami’s second restaurant in Maine, and I’m so glad it opened in Portland. Their menu is incredibly extensive—you can always find something you want to eat and drink. They offer sushi, ramen, poke bowls, and even bubble tea. Every time I walk in and open the menu, I immediately start feeling excited, and it has never let me down. I can’t wait to keep exploring more of their dishes and drinks!

We just came here 3 days after it opened after being long time patrons of their Brunswick location. The vibe is warm and quiet, they have a good selection of ramen options as well as sushi, hibachi and boba options. Pictured is the Watami boat for 2, brown sugar bubble latte, and the strawberry fruit yoghurt sub bubble tea for Crystal boba The staff was very helpful in meeting my dietary requirements (no shellfish) and are very friendly.

What a great new place… the Ramen is fantastic, fresh noodles, crispy veg, broth is flavorful without being heavy. And the salad is great… normally we love a ginger based dressing, this is mayo based and is delightful.
